At Millbrook State, they’re legends in their own right. But they first cross paths not on the court or the field, but at a “Blind Dating” college fundraiser. Their first date is a bust—they realize they’re too similar in their professional goals to see a connection beyond a shared ambition.

They assume it’s the end of their story until fate intervenes during Thanksgiving break. Seated next to each other on a six-hour flight back home, they are forced to do the one thing they avoided on their date: talk. Over shared snacks and witty banter, they discover a genuine friendship that has nothing to do with their athletic careers.

Back at school, the memory of that flight is a gravitational pull neither can resist. Late-night study sessions turn into secret meetups, and a platonic friendship quickly blossoms into something more. As they navigate their confusing feelings, they must decide if their budding romance is a dangerous distraction from the end zone and the three-point line, or a risk worth taking.
